Oh finally I can get on your blog again! For weeks I couldn't access it :-(

Beautiful nail art. Where do i buy what i need to do my nails. Also the liquid u put around the nails& when done u peel it off.
ReplyDeleteHello Tamara, welcome to my blog!
DeleteWell, it depends on where you live. Up in the menu bar you'll find a "stamping plate list". On this list there are all the stamping plates currently available on the market and the links to the shops where you can buy them. The stamper you'll need for stamping, you can buy it on aliexpress. There they sell you the same stampers as for example in the MoYou store but much cheaper. The quality on aliexpress is very good. Ok, now to the different stampers:There are different materials and sizes of stamper. If you buy a silicone stamper (usually they have a big white silicone head) before you use it for the first time you have to buff it slightly with a nail file and afterwards you should clean it with a tissue that you've dipped before in pure acetone. You should do that only one time, than means, before you use your stamper for the first time, as this silicone heads usually are quite oily when they come from the fabric. But the constant use of acetone on your stamper head will destroy it as the silicone doesn't tolerates vey well the acetone.
For around the nail I use a liquid of P2 called "collor stop!". You can buy this product in all DM stores in Germany. If you can't get this product, you can also use water based craft glue. In the US this would be for example Elmers glue or here in Europe you can use Pritt craft glue (it's a white colored glue that turns transparent when it's dry - the bottle is red). I used Pritt craft glue a lot of times. It's a cheap alternative to the "color stop!" and it works great. I myself usually mix a little bit of this Pritt water based glue in an old nail polish bottle with a little bit of water. When you mix the glue with a little bit of water it gets less stickier and is easier to peal off after painting and stamping on your nails.
I hope these instructions will help you! If you need more information don't hesitate to write me another message!
Hugs
